Holmdel First Aid Squad Life Member 
-Asbury Park Press April 1, 2008 MICHAEL JAMES CUOCCI, 79, formerly of HOLMDEL, passed away Friday March 28, in Mesa, Ariz. Born in Hoboken, Mr. Cuocci was a lifelong resident of Holmdel, having moved there with his family at the age of three. He grew up and worked on the family farm in Holmdel for many years until it was sold. He then worked for the Nappi Trucking Company, Matawan, as a mechanic. Mr. Cuocci was a life member of the Hazlet Fire Department. He was a charter and life member of the Holmdel First Aid Squad, where he served as captain for many years, and also taught CPR courses throughout the state. He was awarded the Governor's Award for Volunteerism by the State of New Jersey. Thanks Mike for all your dedication to your squad and your community. HFAS will always remember you.
